HALOS, a nonprofit serving grandparents and kinship families in South Carolina, seeks a Family Resource Coordinator. The role handles intake, assessments, and resource coordination to support caregiver stability and well-being.

Occasional evenings/weekends may be required, with in-person collaborations limited to essential visits. The FRC will work within a navigation team to connect families with HALOS services, maintain case notes, and build partnerships with community agencies.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organization, problem solving, time management, and follow-up skills.
• Able to work in a remote-first environment with required equipment provided by HALOS.
• Desirable knowledge of kinship care or social services is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Answer HALOS main line during business hours professionally and with compassion.
• Screen requests for eligibility and gather necessary information for intake steps.
• Provide information and referrals to families not eligible for HALOS programming.
• Coordinate intake, assessment, and resource referrals for kinship families.
• Maintain accurate intake records and timely follow-ups with families and partners.
• Collaborate with Family Advocates to deliver routine concrete supports when needed.
