Job summary

UPM is seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager for its Adhesive Materials division. The role entails building multi-level relationships, presenting data-driven business cases, and driving commercial execution across customer bases in the US.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Business, with ~5 years in sales management within the printing/packaging sector, and strong Excel/MS Office skills. This is a fully remote role with national scope and travel flexibility.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Business or related discipline.
• 5 years of Sales Management experience in the printing or packaging industry is referenced in the ad.
• Experience managing regional or national accounts.
• Proven ability to develop customer relationships and accelerate sales growth.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver enhanced value to each customer and develop multi-level relationships built on trust.
• Decipher and present data to build a compelling business case aligned with organizational expectations.
• Oversee commercial execution including sales revenue, AV, and receivables across the organization.
• Direct sales responsibilities: price quotes, product recommendations, trial samples, technical support, and service information.
• Identify customer needs, develop solutions, present value propositions, and close acquisition/expansion opportunities.
• Suggest, manage, and improve pricing programs and strategies for the Strategic Account team and ensure portfolio alignment.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to position products, solutions, and services for identified customers.
• Participate in regional strategy development and product development events.
