Job summary

United Therapeutics is seeking a Key Account Manager to develop and execute strategic account plans across large academic centers, IDNs, and specialty clinics to drive adoption and growth of Tyvaso in California.

The KAM will be an educational resource for healthcare professionals, building relationships with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and distributor staff while aligning with regional teams to expand access and product awareness for PH-ILD and IPF.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in nursing or life science).
• 12+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience with specialists.
• 8+ years of experience in cardiovascular and/or pulmonary disease therapeutics.
• 5+ years of specialty pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience.
• 3+ years of hospital pharmacy sales or with IDNs.
• 3+ years of experience with institutional or major teaching centers environments or integrated delivery networks.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex health systems and multi-stakeholder accounts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel in-state.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for large centers and IDNs to drive Tyvaso adoption.
• Serve as educational resource to healthcare professionals and KOLs across the region.
• Build relationships with MDs, NPs, PAs, RNs, pharmacists and distributor staff.
• Collaborate with regional team to shape engagement strategies at centers of excellence.
• Coordinate opportunities across hospitals, academic centers, pharmacies, and health systems.
• Manage territory expenses and utilize the sales force automation system.
• Attend PH/ILD symposia and provide education and promotional support.

Education
