Job summary

Ladders is supporting a client in the Aerospace & Defense space by seeking a Key Account Leader, Small Cities West. This is a remote, field-based sales role focused on public safety agencies across the western U.S.

You will own territory strategy, build pipeline, and guide complex multi-stakeholder deals from qualification through contract signing. The ideal candidate excels in channel partner collaboration, forecasting, and guiding multi-stakeholder deals in a consultative process.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in enterprise software, hardware, or SaaS sales with a proven track record.
• Experience managing full-cycle, multi-stakeholder deals.
• Ability to build and source pipeline independently.
• Strong qualification skills and reliable forecasting.
• Fluency in selling with channel partners.
• Daily use of AI tools in sales processes.
• Ability to travel at least 50% of the time, based in the Western U.S.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute a territory plan for public safety agencies
• Generate pipeline through outbound efforts and events
• Shape decision-making criteria early in the sales process
• Manage multiple agency deals simultaneously with fast qualification
• Run full-cycle sales from discovery to contract signing
• Build consensus among key stakeholders for program approval
• Collaborate with channel partners to structure successful deals
