The position is fully remote based in Louisville, KY, with periodic travel to Omaha, NE for training and occasional field visits to key accounts, contributing to growth and market

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Biology/Chemistry or SCM preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communicator.
• Customer-focused mindset with initiative.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.
• Some laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pursue new sales opportunities through relationship building, prospecting, referrals, networking, trade shows, and in-person sales calls
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers
• Generate and follow up on quotes, proposals, and sales opportunities
• Provide exceptional customer support through responsiveness, consistency, and proactive communication
• Identify customer needs and recommend innovative laboratory and scientific supply solutions
• Maintain regular communication with Midland Scientific leadership and support teams
• Attend periodic sales meetings and product training sessions
