Job summary

Midwest Veterinary Supply, Inc. is seeking an Outside Sales Equine Specialist for the Kentucky territory. This remote role requires travel within the state and to vendor meetings, with residence in Kentucky.

The role focuses on growing sales of equine veterinary supplies to hospitals, boarding facilities, arenas and tracks, collaborating with Inside Sales to maximize revenue. Significant local travel is required and strong relationship-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Four-year college degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of equine veterinary field sales experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize monthly sales calls and travel.
• Sell equine veterinary products to clinics, tracks, universities, and research facilities within assigned territory.
• Maintain relationships with equine vendor reps; quarterly ride-alongs with BI, Clipper, Merial, Merck, Zoetis.
• Attend equine vendor meetings and trade shows; participate in corporate initiatives.
• Manage territory reporting and expense submissions within required timelines.
