Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter or equivalent credential.
• Eligibility to work as a school-based interpreter in Oregon.
• Proficiency in ASL and educational interpreting practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time virtual sign language interpreting during classroom instruction and school activities.
• Support student access in individual, small-group, and whole-class settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers.
• Follow IEPs and communication plans to support student needs.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and scheduling records.
• Take part in virtual meetings related to student support and educational planning.
