Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in ASL Interpretation or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• EIPA score of 3.5 or higher.
• Native or near-native proficiency in ASL and English.
• Demonstrated experience in educational interpreting, particularly in K-12 environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time ASL interpretation for online classes.
• Facilitate communication between deaf/hard-of-hearing students and hearing individuals.
• Review curriculum content for accurate interpretation.
• Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings as necessary.
