McGraw Hill is seeking an Associate Instructional Designer for 6-12 ELA to develop instructional materials for K-12 literacy programs, printed and digital. You will collaborate with content, product management, UX, and media teams to create high-quality resources.

You will contribute to accessibility and package content for various digital formats, following Agile workflows and ensuring timely delivery. This remote PSW role ends 08/31/2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Instructional Technology/Instructional Design or related field.
• 0-2 years' digital content development experience including teaching materials.
• Experience with authoring tools, LMS, and CMS.
• Ability to visualize and create animated and interactive content.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and iterative workflows.
• Past 6-12 teaching experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Learn and apply design principles, backwards design, and design thinking.
• Prepare manuscript needs and support digital asset build.
• Collaborate with Instructional Designers during product development.
• Maintain build documentation for project integrity.
• Contribute to accessibility across the product development process.
• Ensure timely completion of intermediate and final schedules.
• Work with cross-functional teams to meet product requirements and schedules.
• Identify and test bugs in authoring tools and platforms.
