ACCEL Schools LLC is seeking an Intervention Specialist for OHDELA, an online K-12 academy in Ohio. You will support students with IEPs, conduct assessments, and collaborate with teachers to adapt curricula for inclusion and behavioral goals.

Although instruction is virtual, travel for state testing and events is required several times per year. Applicants must hold an Ohio Intervention Specialist License and demonstrate strong communication, organizational skills, and experience in

Qualificações

• Current Ohio Intervention Specialist License
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards
• Experience in full-room inclusion or Co-Teaching in a Resource Room
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook)
• Ability to pass FBI/BCI background checks
• Experience in multicultural settings preferred

Responsabilidades

• Work with teachers to interpret abilities of students and adapt interventions
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction
• Conduct functional behavior assessments
• Write and implement behavior improvement plans
• Facilitate IEP Meetings and write IEP goals
• Strive to achieve student achievement and school culture goals
• Use research-based planning and instruction practices
• Integrate culturally responsive teaching into daily lessons
• Serve as advisor for a group of students
• Communicate regularly with families about progress
• Support planning of non-instructional activities and events
• Perform other duties as assigned
