Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking Online/Cyber Teachers to support K-12 students remotely in the Pittsburgh area. You will substitute, follow provided lesson plans, and help create a cohesive learning experience for students.

Responsibilities include supervising students, adapting methods to individual needs, and delivering in-class and home assignments based on the district plans. A PA Substitute Teaching Certification or emergency permit is required or willing to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Required.
• PA Substitute Teaching Certification or willing to go through emergency certification / Building sub permit process.
• Ability to complete and satisfactorily pass State Criminal Record Check, State Child Abuse, Department of Education FBI.

Responsibilities

• Fully remote opportunity.
• Follow the lesson plan(s) left by the teacher for whom you are substituting in accordance with districts philosophy, goals and objectives.
• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular Teacher to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students.
• Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual student.
• Supervise students in and out of the classroom, including in the halls, on the playground and in the cafeteria.
• Provide in-class and at-home assignments based on the available lesson plan.
