Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• PA Substitute Teaching Certification or willing to go through emergency certification.
• Ability to complete and satisfactorily pass State Criminal Record Check and related clearances.

Responsibilities

• Follow the lesson plans left by the teacher you substitute for.
• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular Teacher to create a cohesive experience.
• Manage the classroom to encourage participation and minimize distractions.
• Adapt teaching methods to fit each student’s needs.
• Supervise students in and out of the classroom (halls, playground, cafeteria).
• Provide in-class and at-home assignments based on the lesson plan.
