Qualifications

• Teacher certification is a firm requirement.
• At least 3 years of experience as a teacher.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to obtain additional certifications on request.
• Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance within two weeks of employment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic guidance and support for students in online courses.
• Orient students to coursework and participation requirements; enforce academic integrity.
• Augment content with remediation and enrichment using appropriate learning strategies.
• Facilitate synchronous online sessions and conduct 1:1 tutoring via web conferencing.
• Communicate with parents, school admins, and clients to ensure student success.
