Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follow the lesson plans left by the teacher you substitute for.
• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular Teacher to create a cohesive experience.
• Manage the classroom to encourage participation and minimize distractions.
• Adapt teaching methods to fit each student’s needs.
• Supervise students in and out of the classroom (halls, playground, cafeteria).
• Provide in-class and at-home assignments based on the lesson plan.

Our clients are seeking Sub-Teachers in your area! Substitute Teachers are assigned to classrooms who need assistance to maintain appropriate and equitable participation in school.

CLIENT'S HOURLY RATE & AVAILABLE HOURS

• Starting at $27-$33/hr depending on Contractor's qualifications, availability, and skills.
• Monday-Friday (8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.)

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Follow the lesson plan(s) left by the teacher for whom you are substituting in accordance with districts philosophy, goals and objectives.
• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular Teacher to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students
• Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions and maintain a positive learning environment
• Adapt teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual student
• Supervise students in and out of the classroom, including in the halls, on the playground and in the cafeteria
• Provide in-class and at-home assignments based on the available lesson plan

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

• Bachelor's Degree Required
• PA Substitute Teaching Certification or willing to go through emergency certification/ Building sub permit process
• Ability to complete and satisfactorily pass State Criminal Record Check, State Child Abuse, Department of Education FBI.
