Job summary

Great Hearts Academies is seeking an Interventionist to provide targeted academic support remotely, working within CST and AZ time zones. The role collaborates with SPED staff, teachers, and leadership to identify students needing interventions, deliver small-group or one-on-one instruction, and monitor progress.

The ideal candidate brings data-driven, differentiated instruction experience, with a focus on reading and math interventions and strong collaboration skills to support student growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid teaching certification preferred.
• 2+ years of experience providing academic interventions or differentiated instruction for K–12 students.
• Experience in online or blended learning environments preferred.
• Knowledge of reading and math intervention programs and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted small-group or individual instruction to students struggling in reading, math, or other core subjects.
• Implement evidence-based intervention strategies aligned with student needs and curriculum.
• Monitor and track student progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
• Support students in developing study skills, executive functioning, and independent learning strategies.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to identify students in need of support and align intervention plans with instruction.
• Administer and interpret formative and summative assessments to inform instruction and maintain records.
