Job summary

Missouri Connections Academy is seeking a Reading Interventionist to deliver targeted literacy support from a home office. You will work in a virtual environment providing phonics, fluency, and comprehension interventions and monitor progress with diagnostic assessments.

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to close reading gaps, maintain records, and use online tools to reinforce skills and report outcomes to school leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering literacy interventions to K-12 students.
• Ability to administer and interpret diagnostic assessments.
• Strong communication with families and collaboration with teachers.

Responsibilities

• Provide small-group and one-on-one virtual reading interventions (phonics, fluency, vocabulary, comprehension).
• Administer and utilize diagnostic assessments to identify student needs.
• Develop individualized learning goals and monitor progress regularly.
• Maintain accurate records of interventions and student performance.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to align intervention strategies.
