Stride, Inc. is seeking an Academic Administrator/Principal for Volunteer State Virtual Academy (VSVA). The role directs educational, administrative and counseling activities in a predominantly virtual environment, and may require in-person participation for PDs and events.

The candidate will manage staff, collaborate with teachers, students, and parents, ensure compliance with laws, and drive the Academic Improvement Plan to support student success and stakeholder satisfaction.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or higher in business, education, or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may apply.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
• Ability to travel 20% of the time.
• Experience as an online/virtual educator and with online learning platforms.

• Manages teaching and administrative staff to align with the school’s mission.
• Confers with teachers, students, and parents on educational and behavioral issues.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including special education.
