Zusammenfassung

Stride, Inc. is seeking an Academic Administrator/Principal for Volunteer State Virtual Academy (VSVA). The role directs educational, administrative and counseling activities in a predominantly virtual setting with some required in-person events.

The ideal candidate has a Master's in education or related field, plus online teaching/administration experience and state licensure. Travel ~20% and strong technology skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

Master's degree in business, education or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; web proficiency.
Ability to travel 20% of the time.
Experience as an online/virtual educator.
Experience teaching in online or brick-and-mortar environments.
State license as a School Administrator.
Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology.
Experience with online learning platforms.

Aufgaben

Directs and coordinates educational, administrative and counseling activities of students.
Manages teaching and administrative staff and aligns with the school's mission.
Ensures conformance to state/local standards and oversees Academic Improvement Plan.
Consults with teachers, students and parents on educational/behavioral issues.
Promotes effective use of technology in a remote work environment.
