Qualifications

• US Citizenship with an active Public Trust
• 2+ years IT experience with an associate degree (or 5+ years without degree)
• Experience with incident triage and root-cause analysis
• Experience with AWS cloud resources and monitoring

Responsibilities

• Provides incident triage and root-cause identification for applications and systems, coordinating with FMCSA stakeholders and IT teams.
• Tailor and monitor alerts for availability and performance using WhatsUp Gold and AWS Synthetic Canaries.
• Maintain AWS inventory attributes and monitor cloud resources for optimization.
• Apply patches or configuration changes to address security issues on Windows or Linux servers.
• Install releases in non-production and production environments.
• Resolve tier 2 and tier 3 tickets and outages with support as needed.
• Basic querying of databases.
