WEX Inc. seeks a motivated Relationship Manager to partner with Direct Middle Market customers to retain and grow profitable payments volume. The role functions as a junior relationship manager focused on strategic growth and day-to-day operations.

You will lead a portfolio of about 100 partners, coordinate with internal teams, and drive quarterly business reviews. This remote US role may require travel up to 30% and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5-10 years experience in relationship management, consultative sales, contract negotiations, operations, and/or solution architecture.
• Relationship management experience with mid-sized commercial businesses and payment technology.
• Commercial card and Payments knowledge.
• Demonstrated financial acumen.
• Contract negotiations experience.
• Travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of ~100 Direct MM partners with cross-functional coordination.
• Collaborate with leadership, account management, operations, finance, legal, product teams.
• Manage partner contracts, renewals, and pricing considerations.
• Act as client advocate and escalation point for issues.
• Drive process improvements and timely resolution of operational issues.
• Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with senior management.
