Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an entry-level proposal writer to join our growth-focused team as a proposal writer/analyst. The role is fully remote within the United States and involves crafting compliant content for government solicitations across Federal, Civilian, DoD, and IC programs.

You will analyze solicitations, draft past performance and resume sections, and collaborate with teammates to weave win themes and strengths into written proposals, delivering artifacts on schedule and with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's with 1-3 years (or commensurate experience).
• Experience responding to Government solicitations (RFPs, RFQs).
• Ability to write compliant proposals for government solicitations.
• Experience tailoring content for non-technical proposal sections.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Adaptable in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Creates compliant and compelling proposal content by analyzing solicitations and coordinating with the team.
• Develops past performance and resume content with guidance.
• Uses storyboarding and best practices to develop content.
• Delivers required artifacts according to the schedule.
• Collaborates with proposal team to integrate win themes and strengths.
• Ensures data accuracy and alignment with proposal strategy.
• Acts as past performance or resume writer across multiple contracts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
