Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an entry-level proposal writer to join our dynamic team as a proposal writer/analyst. This fully remote role is based in the United States and supports government solicitations with a focus on past performance and resumes.

You will craft compliant sections, use storyboarding, and deliver artifacts on schedule while collaborating with the team to align with the overall proposal strategy. A Bachelor's degree with 1–3 years of experience and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1–3 years of experience.
• Experience responding to Government solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, etc.).
• Ability to write compliant and compelling proposal sections for Federal/Civilian and DoD/IC.
• Experience tailoring content for non-technical sections (past performance, resumes).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Creates compliant and compelling proposal content by thoroughly analyzing the solicitation requirements.
• Supports and leads past performance and resume creation with oversight and coaching.
• Uses critical thinking and storyboarding to iteratively develop content.
• Delivers required artifacts according to the schedule.
• Collaborates with proposal team to integrate win themes and discriminators.
• Ensures data accuracy and alignment with overall strategy.
• Serves as past performance or resume writer across multiple contracts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
