GovCIO is hiring an entry-level proposal writer to join our team as a proposal writer/analyst. This role is fully remote within the United States and focuses on crafting compliant, compelling content for government solicitations across various IT solutions.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's with 1–3 years of experience, strong writing skills for past performance and resumes, and proficiency in MS Office. This junior role offers growth opportunities and a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years (or commensurate experience).
• Experience responding to Government solicitations, RFPs, RFQs, etc.
• Ability to write compliant and compelling proposal sections for Federal/Civilian and DoD/IC.
• Experience tailoring content for non-technical proposal sections (past performance, resumes) for a wide variety of IT solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Creates compliant and compelling proposal content by thoroughly analyzing solicitation requirements and working as part of a team.
• Uses critical thinking to iteratively develop content using best practices such as storyboarding.
• Delivers required artifacts according to the schedule.
• Collaborates with other proposal team members to integrate win themes, discriminators, and strengths into assigned sections.
• Ensures accuracy of data and alignment of assigned section with overall proposal strategy and messaging.
• Will serve as a past performance or resume writer covering multiple contracts or candidates.
• This is for a junior-level position.
• Other duties as assigned.
