Job summary

GovCIO is seeking an entry-level proposal writer to join our growth team. This role is fully remote within the United States and focuses on creating compliant, compelling content for government solicitations, including past performance and resume sections.

You will analyze requirements, storyboard content, and collaborate with the team to weave win themes and ensure data accuracy, all while meeting deadlines. This junior role offers growth opportunities and MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years' related experience.
• Experience responding to Government solicitations (RFPs/RFQs).
• Able to write compliant, compelling proposal sections for Federal/Civilian and DoD/IC.
• Experience tailoring content for non-technical sections (past performance, resumes) for IT solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Creates compliant and compelling proposal content by analyzing solicitation requirements and working with a team.
• Uses critical thinking to iteratively develop content using best practices like storyboarding.
• Delivers required artifacts according to the schedule.
• Collaborates with proposal team members to integrate win themes and discriminators into sections.
• Ensures data accuracy and alignment with overall proposal strategy and messaging.
• Serves as a past performance or resume writer covering multiple contracts or candidates.
• This is a junior-level position.
• Other duties as assigned.
