Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a Systems Engineer to configure, maintain, and improve Atlassian platforms and own end-to-end Jira Cloud migrations. You will design workflows, dashboards, and automation to support internal service delivery and reliability.

Qualifications

Bachelor level technical degree or equivalent experience in IT.
3+ years of hands-on Atlassian administration experience in enterprise settings.
Solid Jira workflow design knowledge and strong JQL skills.
Experience migrating Data Center to Cloud configurations and dashboards.

Responsibilities

Administer Jira Cloud Software and Jira Service Management, owning defined environment components.
Design and implement Jira configurations: workflows, schemes, screens, and field configs.
Lead end-to-end migration workstreams from Data Center to Cloud, coordinating with stakeholders.
Build dashboards and reports using native Jira tooling; maintain Forge applications in partnership with other teams.
Configure JSM projects with SLAs, queues, forms, and approval workflows.
Develop automation rules with Jira Automation, and use REST API for integrations and reporting.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain runbooks for operational continuity.
Respond to incidents in a remote-first environment and contribute to post-incident reviews.
