Job summary

Science Based Targets Network seeks a Justice and Equity Lead to integrate JEDI into our target-setting framework. You will lead primary research, author reports, and shape a forward-looking JEDI technical strategy in collaboration with partners across the SBTN network.

This role focuses on safeguarding method application, equitable target determination, and inclusion of human rights and traditional knowledge into practice, working remotely on a global basis.

Qualifications

• PhD/JD/Master's with 10+ years in environmental justice or related fields.
• Expertise in corporate sustainability and justice concepts (FPIC, human rights).
• Experience leading primary research and publishing grey/peer literature.

Responsibilities

• Lead author on research reports and methods documents for external audiences.
• Develop and integrate an SBTN JEDI technical strategy for method development.
• Collaborate with network hub, partners, and communities traditionally underrepresented.
• Contribute to the development of JEDI policy influencing operational practices.
