Joinkeywork is seeking a Japanese Quality Assurance Lead for a remote hourly contractor role. You will oversee quality across AI training projects, review content, provide precise feedback, and ensure adherence to project guidelines.

The position involves onboarding support, document maintenance, and proactive engagement with trainers and QAs. The ideal candidate has native-level Japanese, strong English, 3+ years in related QA or translation roles, and experience guiding remote teams.

Qualifikationen

• Native or near-native Japanese proficiency with strong reading and writing skills.
• Strong English language skills to follow guidelines and provide feedback in English.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Japanese writing, editing, translation, localization, or related QA workflows.
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, or QAs is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Spot-check Japanese items, identify quality issues, provide feedback, and escalate recurring issues.
• Update trainers and QAs on guidelines, project changes, and quality expectations.
• Respond to questions around Japanese grammar, keigo, kana/kanji usage, and translation fidelity.
• DM inactive contributors, encourage activation, track follow-ups, and flag availability issues.
• Create and maintain Japanese documentation, style guides, trackers, FAQs, and onboarding materials.
• Run onboarding/training calls to explain workflows, rubrics, quality standards, and Japanese-specific requirements.
• Ensure all trainers and QAs apply Japanese language guidelines consistently.
• Identify recurring quality gaps and build scalable QA processes.
