Job summary

Agile Space Industries, Inc. is seeking an Export Compliance Specialist – Regulatory & Contracts to support ITAR/EAR compliance, licensing, and contract flow-downs. The role collaborates across Programs, Engineering, Security, Legal, and Supply Chain to translate regulatory requirements into practical processes.

Remote eligibility is available for specified states. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in export controls, strong analytical skills, and experience negotiating export-control terms

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, international trade, supply chain, engineering, legal studies, or related field.
• 5+ years in export controls, trade compliance, or related field.
• Understanding of ITAR and EAR and their application to contracts and products.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating contracts with export-control terms.
• Experience with restricted-party screening and export classification.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and related regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support export-control activities including ITAR, EAR, and related US trade requirements.
• Provide guidance on export-control requirements for products, data, software, and services.
• Lead classification assessments (USML/ECCN) and licensing considerations.
• Assist in licensing, exemptions, and other regulatory authorizations.
• Maintain audit-ready compliance records and monitor contracts and obligations.
• Embed compliance into contracts, supplier agreements, and program activities.
