Job summary

Agile Space Industries is seeking an Export Compliance Specialist – Regulatory & Contracts, focusing on export‑control and trade compliance support, including ITAR, EAR, and related U.S. trade requirements.

As part of the Contracts team, you will translate regulatory and contractual obligations into practical processes, collaborate with Program, Engineering, Operations, and Legal teams, and help manage licenses, classifications, and screenings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, international trade, supply chain, engineering, legal studies, or a related field.
• 5+ years in export controls, trade compliance, or a closely related field.
• Experience with ITAR and EAR in contracts or related work.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts, subcontracts, and agreements to identify export-control obligations and risks.
• Negotiate export-control terms with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Maintain audit-ready compliance records and licensing documentation.
• Support licensing, classifications (USML/ECCN), and screening workflows.
• Collaborate with Legal, Security, and Program teams to embed compliance into business processes.
