Job summary

Agile Space Industries, Inc. is seeking an Export Compliance Specialist – Regulatory & Contracts to support ITAR/EAR compliance and contractual flow-downs. You will work with cross-functional teams to translate complex regulations into practical processes that enable business execution.

Remote work is available nationwide, with a focus on strengthening export controls, licensing, and risk management while partnering with Legal and Engineering to ensure compliance across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, international trade, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in export controls, trade compliance, or similar regulatory area.
• Working knowledge of ITAR and EAR applications to contracts and data.
• Experience reviewing/negotiating contracts with export-control terms.
• Experience with DDTC, BIS, and export licensing processes.

Responsibilities

• Support export-control activities including ITAR, EAR and related requirements.
• Lead classification assessments (USML/ECCN) with technical/compliance teams.
• Assist in licensing, exemptions, and authorizations; maintain license records.
• Develop and maintain compliance policies, controls, and training materials.
• Coordinate with Legal, Security, IT, and Operations to embed compliance in everyday activities.
