Job summary

Agile Space Industries, Inc. is seeking an Export Compliance Specialist – Regulatory & Contracts to manage export-control and trade compliance activities, aligning ITAR and EAR with contracts, programs, and business operations.

The role partners with Program, Engineering, Security, Legal, and Supply Chain to translate regulatory requirements into practical processes, including licensing, screenings, and documentation. Remote work is possible for eligible states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, international trade, supply chain, engineering, legal studies, or related field.
• 5+ years in export controls, trade compliance, or related field.
• Knowledge of ITAR and EAR and their contract applications.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating contracts for export-control terms.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate to practical processes.
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support export-control and trade compliance activities including ITAR, EAR, and other applicable U.S. trade requirements.
• Lead classification assessments (USML/ECCN) with technical teams.
• Assist licensing and authorization processes and maintain records.
• Review contracts for export-control obligations and negotiate terms.
• Collaborate with Legal, Security, IT, and Operations to embed compliance.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on obligations.
