Job summary

Epic Kids is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to run day-to-day IT operations and maintain audit-ready controls for compliance programs. You will oversee identity and access, device provisioning, network infrastructure, and cloud services while partnering with engineering and People Operations from a remote-US base.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT administration or IT operations with hands-on identity, endpoint, network, and business-application administration
• Experience supporting a formal compliance program (SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar)
• Working knowledge of identity and access management — SSO, MFA, privileged access, and user lifecycle management
• Experience administering Google Workspace or a comparable productivity and identity suite
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, OS, networking, cloud, and SaaS applications
• Experience with controlling remote-access technologies such as VPNs, VDI
• Clear communication and documentation for technical and non-technical employees
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• CompTIA Network+ and Security+ or equivalent
• Associate Google Workspace Administrator or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Administer corporate identity and access across Google Workspace and core business apps
• Evolve the identity stack — SSO, lifecycle automation, and identity tooling
• Own the user lifecycle end to end — provisioning at hire, role changes, deprovisioning at exit
• Run periodic user access reviews and drive remediation to closure
• Enforce authentication and device standards — MFA enrollment, encryption, patching
• Own device provisioning — MDM enrollment and laptop setup
• Manage business network infrastructure — firewalls, switches, routers, wireless, VPNs
• Maintain backup and recovery capabilities in line with RPOs/RTOs
• Monitor privileged access and sensitive data-handling
• Support data governance for regulated data
• Administer cloud platforms and SaaS environments
• Produce evidence for IT-owned controls and support audits
• Maintain inventory of applications, hardware and access
• Handle day-to-day IT support for employees
• Define IT procedures and keep runbooks current
• Partner on policy rollout, security awareness training, incident response
