Job summary

Distributor Wire & Cable is seeking an IT Engineer to manage identity, access, and endpoint environments across Google Workspace, SSO, SCIM, and RBAC. You will own user lifecycle processes, enforce security policies, and drive automation using Python, PowerShell, and Bash.

You will also manage Windows and macOS endpoints via NinjaOne/Intune/Jamf, oversee cloud integrations (AWS), and contribute to SOC 2 and ISO 27001 readiness, with occasional on-site support at the local facility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT support with systems administration/engineering exposure.
• Experience in SOC 2 and ISO 27001 readiness is preferred.
• IAM (SSO, SAML, SCIM, RBAC) and cloud-first design experience.
• Automation using Python, PowerShell, and Bash; AI tools to accelerate IT workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own identity systems across Google Workspace, SSO, SAML, SCIM, and RBAC.
• Manage full user lifecycle: onboarding, access changes, offboarding.
• Design and enforce security policies including least-privilege and MFA.
• Design and maintain Windows/macOS endpoint management and lifecycle.
• Build automation and IT workflows across systems.
• Support cloud infra and integrations, including IAM, EC2, S3, CloudWatch.
• Partner on security incident response and governance.
