Job summary

Distributor Wire & Cable is seeking an IT Engineer focused on Identity & Access Management, endpoint engineering, automation, and cloud integrations. You will own IAM, SSO, SAML, and RBAC across Google Workspace, with full user lifecycle management and policy enforcement.

You will also manage Windows/macOS endpoints via NinjaOne, automate provisioning, patching, and deployment, and drive security practices, compliance readiness, and scalable IT operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT support with a systems administrator/IT engineering background.
• Degree in Tech/Information Systems or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 readiness.
• AWS SysOps or Google Workspace Administrator certifications preferred.
• Deep expertise in IAM, Google Workspace, and cloud-first design.
• Proficient in Python, PowerShell, Bash; AI-assisted IT workflows valued.

Responsibilities

• Own identity systems across Google Workspace, SSO, SAML, SCIM, and RBAC.
• Manage full user lifecycle including onboarding and offboarding.
• Design and enforce least-privilege, conditional access, and MFA policies.
• Translate business access requirements into secure, scalable configurations.
• Manage Windows/macOS endpoints with NinjaOne; enforce device compliance.
• Automate provisioning, patching, and software deployment via scripts.
• Improve device visibility and automated remediation workflows.
• Develop BYOD policies and conditional access controls.
• Build IT automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash; standardize workflows.
• Support AI tools adoption to reduce manual IT effort at scale.
• Create runbooks, standards, and guides for self-sufficient teams.
• Support AWS IAM, EC2, S3, CloudWatch; handle integrations and data flows.
• Collaborate with Arctic Wolf and security teams for incident workflows.
• Lead IT upgrades, rollouts, and cross-functional tech projects.
