Job summary

Distributor Wire & Cable is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage identity, access, and endpoint strategies in a remote-capable environment. You will own Google Workspace IAM, SSO, SCIM, and RBAC, while ensuring secure, scalable user lifecycle processes and robust endpoint management.

Responsibilities include automation, policy enforcement, and collaboration with security partners to uphold SOC 2 and ISO 27001 readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT support or Systems Administration/IT Engineering
• Degree in Tech/Information Systems or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 readiness
• AWS SysOps or Google Workspace Administrator certifications preferred
• IAM (SSO, SAML, SCIM, RBAC), Google Workspace, cloud-first design expertise
• Automation and scripting in Python/PowerShell/Bash; AI tool experience welcome
• MDM-based endpoint management (NinjaOne/Intune/Jamf) at scale
• LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, REST APIs, and cross-platform data flows

Responsibilities

• Own identity systems across Google Workspace, SSO, SAML, SCIM, and RBAC
• Manage full user lifecycle including onboarding, access changes, and offboarding
• Design and enforce security policies including least-privilege, conditional access, and MFA
• Translate business access requirements from non-technical stakeholders into secure configurations
• Own Windows and macOS endpoint management using NinjaOne
• Enforce device compliance standards and full lifecycle management
• Automate provisioning, patching, and software deployment
• Improve device visibility, health monitoring, and remediation workflows
• Design and maintain BYOD policies and conditional access controls
• Build automation using Python, PowerShell, and Bash for IT operations
• Design IT workflows, automations, and reporting across systems
• Identify and implement AI tools to reduce manual IT effort
• Support internal teams in adopting AI tools safely at scale
• Create and maintain runbooks and standards for team use
