Job summary

VC3 is seeking a capable IT Service Technician to resolve complex technical issues for clients across the United States and Canada. You will manage escalated service requests and support key business technologies, following the VC3 Way to ensure predictable customer outcomes.

The role involves troubleshooting across MS Office, networking, VPN/RDS/Citrix, and security, with on-call rotation and opportunities for growth and certification in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant technical experience or 1 year as VC3 Service Technician I/II.
• 2+ years experience managing Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, GPOs, virus and security, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Hyper-V and VMware.
• CompTIA Network+/A+ or Microsoft 365/Azure certifications are highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to escalated service requests, incidents and change requests promptly.
• Troubleshoot issues across LOB apps, Microsoft 365, browsers, networking, VPN/RDS/Citrix, wireless, and printers.
• Perform virus/malware removal, phishing remediation, and password resets.
• Manage Active Directory and Group Policy as required.
• Support Microsoft 365/Entra ID and related tools.
• Identify recurring issues and initiate problem tickets for them.
• Suggest improvements to hardware/software to improve client security posture.
• Maintain accurate, real-time timesheets and detailed troubleshooting notes.
• Participate in on-call rotation (1 week every 3–4 months).
• Additional duties as needed.
