Job summary

Washington State Department of Transportation is seeking an IT Customer Support professional to provide technical assistance for the Department of Licensing's Information Services Division, supporting driver and vehicle offices statewide.

This 12-month, non-permanent role offers flexible/hybrid remote work with occasional visits to the Olympia office and opportunities to improve processes and service delivery for residents across Washington.

Qualifications

• Five years of consultative, customer service, or IT analysis experience.
• Ability to promote an inclusive and respectful workplace per agency values.
• Experience following information security and service desk procedures.
• Willingness to learn and grow, and respond to others' needs.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support software applications statewide.
• Provide Help Desk support and assist DOL Service Desk team.
• Coordinate with vendors on development, testing, and maintenance of COTS products.
• Support security efforts including password resets and device scans.
• Document and update procedures to ensure a consistent work environment.
