Job summary

Nex, based in San Jose, California, is seeking an IT Operations Specialist to run day-to-day IT operations at Nex. This hybrid role includes device lifecycle, workspace networking, and access provisioning, with remote support to Hong Kong.

You will work with a global team to keep employees productive, secure, and equipped with reliable technology as we scale. The ideal candidate brings 2–5 years in IT operations, hands-on device management, and strong troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in IT support/operations or systems admin.
• Hands-on device management with MDM tools (Jamf/Intune or similar).
• Experience with Google Workspace admin console and security basics.
• Familiar with networking concepts and videoconferencing hardware.

Responsibilities

• Own device procurement, provisioning, maintenance, and redeployment.
• Manage IT access provisioning and security for core systems.
• Maintain endpoint protection and security controls.
• Provide remote/onsite IT support across time zones and offices.
• Collaborate with InfoSec and procurement on strategy and vendor mgmt.
