Job summary

Toshiba America Business Solutions is seeking a Systems Support Specialist I to handle remote client systems support, including troubleshooting networks, connectivity, and applications. The role involves assisting customers, identifying root causes, and escalating issues when needed.

Occasional on-site visits may be required, with responsibilities including driver installations, workstation additions, and software support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year related experience in IT support, networking systems, connectivity and related software.
• Comfortable with installation and upgrades to network systems/equipment.
• Must be customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve systems support problems remotely (networks, interface, connectivity and applications). Gather call information to identify root cause.
• Work with customers to resolve technical issues.
• Escalate problems not resolved according to department process.
• May visit customer site occasionally.
• Provide support and training to customers in loading drivers, adding workstations, software applications and other information.
