Job summary

Per Scholas is seeking an IT Support instructor to join our Training Team in California. You will deliver instructor-led sessions, assess student progress, and manage attendance while updating Salesforce and our LMS with grades and notes.

The role requires strong IT fundamentals, classroom communication, and familiarity with Windows, Linux, and cloud concepts. The candidate will maintain curricula and lesson materials, collaborate with staff, and contribute to equitable tech training.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of teaching or training experience.
• Respond clearly to live digital conversations via Zoom or in-person.
• Proficient IT support fundamentals: hardware, software, networking.
• Familiarity with Windows, MacOS, Linux.
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting IT issues and configuring devices.
• Ability to work with helpdesk systems, remote desktop tools, and network configs.
• Understanding of cloud services and IT best practices and SLAs.
• Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory, DHCP, DNS.
• Knowledge of Group Policy and server storage concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical/industry experience.

• Deliver daily instruction, assess progress, and manage attendance.
• Update Salesforce and LMS with grades, scores, and notes.
