Job summary
Per Scholas is seeking an IT Support instructor to join our Training Team. The role involves delivering instructor-led IT support training for entry- to mid-level careers, updating Salesforce/LMS with student progress, and maintaining curricula.
You will conduct daily instruction, assessments, and tutoring, while monitoring progress and addressing issues consistently. Requirements include 1-3 years teaching/training experience, a Bachelor's in IT or related field, and strong IT fundamentals
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of teaching or training experience.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in IT or related field.
- Familiarity with operating systems including Windows, Linux and macOS.
- Strong IT support fundamentals and hardware/software knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Salesforce and LMS tooling is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Deliver instructor-led IT Support training to entry- to mid-level students.
- Maintain and update Salesforce and LMS with grades, scores, and progress notes.
- Develop and update curricula, syllabi, lesson plans, and materials.
- Daily instruction, assessments, attendance, and one-on-one tutoring.
- Monitor progress and address student performance and behavior consistently.
- Support remote and in-person learning via Zoom and other platforms.
