Job summary

Per Scholas is seeking an IT Support Instructional Assistant to join the Remote Training Team. You will assist the lead instructor, help manage class logistics, and support learners in acquiring entry‑level tech skills, with a focus on IT support concepts, hardware, and software.

You should be comfortable teaching interactively, collaborating across teams, and adapting to schedule changes. This role is remote-based for candidates in supported states and includes comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• CompTIA A+ certification required.
• Ability to teach in an interactive, hands-on style.
• Passion for teaching others and flexible schedule.
• Team oriented with strong communication.
• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Teaching experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead instructor in class and administration.
• Grade assessments and enter learner grades.
• Update Salesforce data and LMS records.
• Review curriculum weekly for errors.
• Prepare daily student agenda.
• Manage learner areas and tech inventory.
• Monitor classroom tech and ensure audio/video works.
• Support in-class testing and group activities.
