Job summary

Per Scholas is seeking a dynamic Teaching Fellow - IT Support in New York. You will join our Technical Instruction Training Team as a support instructor, training learners to become entry-level technicians and reinforcing the curriculum.

You will support the Lead Instructor, assist with lab sessions, manage classrooms, and help with administrative tasks while developing teaching skills for future leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Per Scholas or equivalent IT experience.
• CompTIA A+, Google IT or related certifications preferred.
• Ability to learn new skills quickly.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Interest in teaching and supporting learners.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Instructor in conducting technical training sessions.
• Monitor and assist learners (15–30 students) in lab or classroom environments.
• Troubleshoot lab equipment, software, or network issues.
• Provide tutoring/office hours for learners who need extra support.
• Support classroom time management and instructional pacing.
