IDR, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our team in a remote-capable role serving SMB clients.

The position involves handling hardware, software, and network issues, with remote support and occasional on-site visits in Williamson County, TN. The Senior IT Support Engineer will manage Windows servers, Active Directory, Office 365, and firewall basics (Fortinet preferred), while providing excellent client service and collaborating with a global technical team to resolve complex

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows-based servers, desktops, and networking.
• A familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and basic firewall management (Fortinet preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting skills, including network issues and hardware repairs.
• Excellent communication skills, professional presentation, and client-facing ability.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical resource for SMB clients, resolving various hardware, software, and network issues.
• Provide remote support with occasional onsite visits in Williamson County.
• Manage firewalls, Windows servers, Active Directory, Office 365, and other endpoint devices.
• Collaborate with a corporate technical team to escalate and resolve complex challenges.
• Maintain excellent client communication and ensure service level agreements are met.
