Job summary

Remote Worker LTD. is hiring a highly experienced IT Support Engineer for a remote-first role with occasional travel to our London or Bristol offices as needed. The position focuses on stability, security and efficiency, balancing routine lifecycle tasks with strategic IT projects.

You will support a mixed macOS and Windows environment, administer Google Workspace and M365, and contribute to security alignment with ISO27001, SOC 2 and PCI requirements while driving automation and improvements.

Qualifications

• Senior internal IT / systems administration experience
• Strong macOS and Windows support
• Experience with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft 365
• Practical use of AI tools to boost productivity
• Hands-on MDM/endpoint management (JumpCloud, Mosyle)
• Onboarding/offboarding and hardware lifecycle management
• Good IT security, access management and compliance
• Experience with cloud/SaaS environments
• Ability to automate processes and reduce manual admin
• Experience delivering IT projects and change
• Strong communication with non-technical teams
• Systems-thinking mindset and continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across macOS and Windows.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, SaaS, access and connectivity issues.
• Own complex issues to resolution and act as senior escalation point.
• Identify recurring problems and implement preventive measures.
• Manage hardware procurement, provisioning, shipping and lifecycle.
• Own onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Administer Google Workspace, M365, Box, JumpCloud, Mosyle and ESET.
• Maintain secure, well-documented processes aligned with ISO27001, SOC2, PCI.
• Look for opportunities to automate repetitive tasks.
• Lead IT, infrastructure and security projects and changes.
• Help colleagues adopt new technology and processes.
