Job summary

Toppan Merrill, a global technology leader in regulatory disclosure, seeks a Procurement Category Manager: IT to lead sourcing across software, hardware, cloud services, and IT consulting. You will partner with IT, Finance, Legal, Security, and executives to optimize costs, mitigate risk, and support strategic objectives.

As subject-matter expert in IT procurement, you will drive negotiations, supplier performance, and governance, while aligning activities with business priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in strategic sourcing, category management, or IT procurement.
• Experience negotiating software, SaaS, cloud services, hardware, and IT services.
• Understanding of software licensing, cloud agreements, and vendor management.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and manage cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute IT sourcing and category strategies aligned with business goals.
• Analyze spend, market trends, supplier capabilities, and requirements to identify opportunities.
• Lead RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, evaluations, negotiations, and supplier selections.
• Advise IT leadership on procurement strategies, terms, and vendor management.
• Coordinate with IT, Finance, Legal, Security, and business units to meet priorities.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, licensing, SOWs, and SLAs to optimize value.
• Manage supplier relationships and governance, monitor performance and risk.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning with market insights.
• Identify cost savings, avoidance, and value creation across IT spend.
• Develop category roadmaps, performance metrics, and governance.
• Ensure procurement policies and controls throughout the lifecycle.
• Prepare executive reports and business cases for senior leadership.
• Support ROI analyses and total cost of ownership for tech investments.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and stakeholder experience.
