Job summary

NWN is seeking a Project Manager to lead IT solutions projects across Enterprise, Commercial, State/Local and education verticals. This fully remote role focuses on delivering projects on time and within budget, while maintaining high customer satisfaction and leveraging AI tools to optimize processes.

The PM will develop detailed project plans, coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage budgets and forecasts, and follow NWN methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of IT project management.
• 3+ years of developing project plans including charter, scope, approach, management plans, communication plans, resource needs, SOW, cost estimates, and schedule.
• 3+ years of working with cross-functional teams and staff at all levels.
• Experience managing project financials including forecasting, 3rd party cost controls, and budget baseline.
• Knowledge of project management best practices (PMBOK).
• Business Analyst type experience with collecting and developing requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional client facing communications and presentation skills.
• Comfort with adopting emerging AI tools and technologies to optimize processes and collaboration.
• PMP Certification or desire to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects while maintaining 80% billable utilization.
• Drive project success: maintain customer satisfaction while keeping projects on schedule and within budget.
• Direct and coordinate all activities of project personnel and resources to ensure project progress.
• Forecast revenue regularly across projects and mitigate risks to commitments.
• Follow NWN project management delivery methodology: kickoff meetings, detailed plans, monitor/report progress, and document artifacts.
• Manage change in scope via Change Management process.
• Conduct Post Project Reviews and formal closure on engagements.
• Understand and articulate all NWN service offerings and capabilities.
• Represent NWN with contractors, suppliers, customers and other parties as required.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
