Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking an IT Procurement Lead to establish and execute enterprise technology sourcing and supplier strategies.

You will drive complex procurement initiatives that align with IT strategy, risk, and long-term value across healthcare technology portfolios including clinical workflows, revenue cycle, and data analytics. You will lead supplier selection, negotiations, and contracts, partnering with Legal, Finance, Privacy, Security, and Enterprise Architecture to optimize total cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related discipline
• Eight or more years of progressive IT procurement or strategic sourcing experience
• Experience sourcing, negotiating, or managing healthcare technology solutions
• Experience negotiating complex software, SaaS, cloud, data, and technology-enabled services agreements
• Strong understanding of category management, sourcing, contracting, and supplier relationship management
• Ability to translate business needs into sourcing strategies in a regulated environment
• Experience managing supplier performance, renewals, and value realization
• Excellent communication, executive presence, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently in a complex environment

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year category strategies and sourcing pipelines
• Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives from requirements to implementation
• Negotiate software, SaaS, cloud, data, and tech-enabled services agreements
• Advise senior leaders on market dynamics, supplier options, and risks
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Security, Privacy, Risk, and other stakeholders
• Manage strategic suppliers across the contract lifecycle and monitor performance
