Job summary

Surgery Partners seeks an IT Purchasing Coordinator to support strategic IT procurement initiatives across the South region from a remote location. You will partner with Project Managers, IT leaders, and vendors to source hardware, software, and services, ensuring on-time delivery within budget.

Responsibilities include owning procurement deliverables from planning through deployment readiness, managing quotes and purchase orders in ServiceNow, and providing timely status updates to stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, information technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of IT purchasing or procurement experience.
• Experience coordinating procurement for multiple projects.
• Experience with purchase orders, budget tracking, and invoice reconciliation.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow and software license management.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project procurement activities for IT initiatives, ensuring procurement deliverables support implementation schedules and operational readiness requirements.
• Develop procurement plans with Project Managers and IT leaders to support project timelines.
• Identify procurement-related risks and mitigation plans to minimize project impacts.
• Coordinate equipment ordering, shipment tracking, delivery confirmation, and deployment readiness.
• Maintain project budgets, monitor spending, and provide procurement cost forecasts.
• Provide regular procurement status updates to Project Managers and stakeholders.
