Job summary

Jobgether is seeking an IT Operations Specialist in the United States to maintain efficient and secure IT operations. You will handle documentation, vulnerability tracking, ticketing, and day-to-day IT tasks, collaborating with technical teams and owners.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in IT operations or related field.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve OS, application, account access, and connectivity issues.
• Experience using ticketing or service management systems to document and track requests.
• Ability to write clear technical procedures, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.
• Working knowledge of operating systems, networking, IAM, and enterprise apps.
• Familiarity with CVEs, security advisories, remediation tracking, and vulnerability basics.
• Experience coordinating remediation or using vulnerability scanning tools is a plus.
• Experience with Windows, macOS, Linux; basic AWS, SSO, MFA understanding.
• Certifications are advantageous but not mandatory with equivalent experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and ability to coordinate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• IT Documentation and Knowledge Management: create and maintain procedures, runbooks, and KB articles with tech teams.
• Vulnerability Monitoring and Remediation: monitor CVE alerts and coordinate remediation with owners.
• IT Ticket and Service Management: review tickets, gather diagnostics, escalate, and track progress.
• Technical Support: provide Level 1 and appropriate Level 2 support for workstations, apps, VPN, and network issues.
• Employee Lifecycle and Access Management: assist onboarding/offboarding, provisioning, and access changes.
• IT Operations Administration: maintain inventories, checklists, and documentation; track recurring tasks.
• Process Improvement and Collaboration: work with IT/infrastructure/security to improve workflows and standards.
